A smoke detector is an everyday item, which doesn’t look out of place in an office, factory or workshop. Except this one hides a covert colour CCD camera. Utilising the latest generation Sony CCD, this camera provides a hi-resolution 520TVL image.
Due to it being ceiling mounted, the camera provides an excellent above head-height coverage of a room. The integrated camera peeks out of the side of the unit. To keep with its appearance, the unit has an LED which is illuminated.
The E-646 has a standard composite video output which can be connected to any of our Digital Video Recorders. As an option, one can have the unit fitted with a wireless transmitter. Ceiling mounted it comes with a short cable with video BNC and DC power socket.
