These special lenses have been designed for use with B/W or Day/Night cameras and infra-red illuminators. Cameras switching to B/W from colour and B/W cameras when used with IR illuminators are often out of focus during night operation. This is caused by a focal plane difference with visible & infra-red light when using standard non-IR lenses. Our new lenses correct this problem and provides a focused picture during day and night. Vari-focal, the lens also features a DC-drive automatic iris and is of a spherical construction. A spherical lens provides a superior colour reproduction and better image clarity around the edges.

The E-12VG1040ASIR lens is compatible with our E-IP3100 megapixel camera.
