The E-110HQ is a dome camera suitable for 24 hour operation, indoors or outdoors. It is constructed of die-cast aluminium with a shatter-proof polycarbonate dome. It is ideally suited for areas where the camera is exposed to tampering or abuse. This includes low hanging ceilings, eye-level wall mounting for entrances, search cubicles, sorting glove boxes and more.

HI-RES SONY CCD

Inside the vandal resistant housing is a hi-resolution colour day/night CCD camera utilising the latest generation Sony HyperHAD CCD and Sony HQ1 DSP processor. Resolution provided is a super 540TVL in the colour mode and 580TVL in the B/W mode.

WIDE RANGE VARI-FOCAL LENS

The dome's vari-focal lens adjustment means the installer can adjust the focal length of the lens to suit his application. Most dome cameras are fitted with a 4~9mm lens which limits their use. The E-110HQ comes as standard fitted with a 3.3~12mm vari-focal auto iris lens. This allows manual adjustment across a wide focal length range.

DAY/NIGHT OPERATION

A day/night switch over circuit converts the camera from colour to black and white when the light level drops below 5 lux. This also activates the infra-red illumination which provides illumination for an effective distance up to 10 metres. With a special mechanical IR-cut filter, the E-110HQ is able to provide accurate color images during the day and IR sensitive images at night. A special new image processing technology inside the camera prevents IR over-saturation and provides accurate B/W IR images.

The E-110HQ has been designed with the installer in-mind. Various features make the camera suitable for easy installation in all environment. This starts with the innovative design of the housing. The housing and camera module are two seperate parts. Thus allowing the housing to be installed first and the camera to be added later. This is often the case in new developments where the building may not be complete. For the ideal camera angle, the E-110HQ has a 3-axis manual adjustment. This is allows the camera to be panned 360degrees, tilted up 90degrees and rotated 180degrees.  All without requiring any special tools. The 3-axis adjustment allows the camera to be wall, ceiling or slope mounted. Another special installer feature is that of the test monitor video output. This additional video output allows the installer to setup the camera locally while still connected to the CCTV system's cabling.

EASY SERVICING

On the servicing side, the E-110HQ has an inter-changable fuse. This protects the camera's power circuit from surges or over-voltage. Replacement of the fuse is easy and can be done by the service technician onsite. Because the camera's dome is not fixed to camera module, the dome window can be rotated if a portion of the glass becomes contaminated or scratched.

RUGGED DESIGN

The E-110HQ has been designed for installation in rugged environments. IP66 weatherproof rate, the camera has a special coating making it suitable for use in corrosive or salty environments. An optional heater unit can be fitted to the E-110HQ allowing operation down to -40 degreesC.

OTHER FEATURES   

Other features include automatic white balance, automatic backlight compensation, as well as a wide input voltage range.
