The E-13VG20100AS is a vari-focal auto iris lens for medium to long range surveillance applications. Many installations require fixed cameras with longer than the standard focal lengths available. Until now, one had to use 50 mm lenses with a 2x conversion ring. This however reduces the lens’s aperture making it less than useful for low light applications. Typical applications for this lens include use in machine vision applications, number plate recognition or traffic monitoring. Manual iris and auto iris models are available.
