The E-C450AD is a new version of our popular ‘Snake Camera’. This camera features a 12 mm pinhole and makes it ideal for longer range covert video surveillance. A ‘Snake Camera’ consists of a lens with the CCD as the head of the camera connected by 300 mm of cable to the camera’s electronics. This allows the camera head to be an amazing size of only 12 x 12 x 31 mm. For a CCD-based camera, this is very small, making it easy to conceal the head in a compact place with the 30 x 30 mm electronic board further along the cable elsewhere.


The camera provides crisp sharp colour images in normal lighting conditions. Fitted with a 12 mm pinhole lens, the E-C450AD is suited for longer range covert surveillance in situations where standard 3.7 mm pinhole cameras are not suitable. If you need that extra range but can’t afford to use a larger camera, the E-C450AD is the camera for your application.


These cameras operate on 12 VDC and are fairly low in power consumption (70 mA). The cameras are supplied with a short cable terminated with a female RCA connector for video and a standard 2.1 mm DC socket for power.
