the E-DI-1000 gives you realistic, high-quality images at a range of 750 meters. The system’s magnification capabilities make it ideal for monitoring long, unmanned perimeters; wide security buffer zones; borders, pipelines, railways and other sensitive infrastructure; or even entry points with heavy pedestrian traffic.

NIGHTTIME COVERT VISBILITY
The E-DI-1000 actively illuminates objects in its field of view using laser IR light.
Targets become visible in total darkness or shadow—and through rain, fog, dust or windows—more than three times the distance possible with competing systems. Because the IR light is not visible to the human eye, your monitoring efforts remain covert.
NATURAL IMAGES
Our E-DI-1000 delivers night vision video imagery with easy-to-interpret, natural-looking contrasts for superior object recognition compared to thermal
images.
DETAIL RECOGNITION
Excellent magnification, image resolution and beam spotting capabilities combine to offer highly reliable face, mark, letter or symbol recognition. Unlike gated ICCD (intensified charge-coupled devices) or other active IR systems, the E-DI-1000's view is not saturated or bloomed due to intense ambient light
sources.
DAYTIME COLOR VIDEO
The E-DI-1000 system provides ‘zoomable,’ high-resolution, full-color images in daylight. Thermal imaging cameras provide good performance at night but no color images during the day.
LASER ILLUMINATOR
Incorporating a highly heat-efficient laser illuminator the E-DI-1000 gives you far greater range and performance than other infra-red illuminators.
It also offers more than 24,000 hours of life (mean time between failure - MTBF). To prevent blooming, the camera's automatic intensity control feature senses near-by objects and quickly reduces laser intensity.
