The E-MD-600IR is an innovative new covert surveillance product. On inspection, it looks like a ceiling mount 'halogen spot light'. In reality behind the mirrored glass is a hi-resolution color camera. The person under surveillance is NOT able to see the camera but the camera is able to penetrate the glass to provide a clear video image of the individual.
Able to provide a hi-resolution color image, the camera is fitted with a 3.6mm wide angle lens and can be tilted by a few degrees in up or down. For low light operation, the E-MD-600IR has integrated Infra-Red Illumination. This 940nm IR is not visible to the human-eye and allows covert coverage in poor or little lighting. The IR switches on at 10~15 lux with a light sensor and has a range of 5~8 metres indoors.

The E-MD-600IR blends well into most environments providing a product which is quick and easy to install. Able to fit into the same hole, as a standard ceiling-mount hologen light fitting, the camera requires 12VDC and has a standard analog video output which can be connected to a DVR.
