These mini cameras, feature the new Effio high resolution CCD Sensor with 700 TV lines. Due to its 1/3" sensor, more light enters the chip which means a greater sensitivity and thus allowing the camera to operate in lower lighting levels. In poor lighting, the camera gives an excellent noise-free image unlike many other mini cameras which have a picture saturated by the camera's automatic gain control. S/N ratio is greater than 50 dB. Other features include 2D digital noise reduction, low power consumption and automatic white balance.

Packaged in a compact metal enclosure, the camera has a small mounting bracket and comes included with a short video and power cable.
