These mini cameras, feature a high resolution 1/3" Colour CCD Sensor with 480 TV lines. Due to its 1/3" sensor, more light enters the chip which means a greater sensitivity and thus allowing the camera to operate in lower lighting levels. In poor lighting, the camera gives an excellent noise-free image unlike many other mini cameras which have a picture saturated by the camera's automatic gain control. S/N ratio is greater than 50 dB. Other features include automatic BLC, reverse polarity protection, low power consumption and automatic white balance. Two models are available, the E-253CHP37 and the E-253CH-B36. The lens fitted to the E-253CH-P37 is a super-cone-pinhole with a 3.7 mm focal length and the E-253CH-B36 has a 3.6 mm board lens. Packaged in a compact metal enclosure, the camera has a small mounting bracket and comes included with a short video and power cable.
