These new lenses are suitable for fixed and PTZ camera applications which require long range video surveillance. In many applications, the range of a standard speed dome camera, say up to 91 mm (x26), is simply not enough. A 300 mm lens is able to provide the user with close-up surveillance at 200~300 metres or general observation at up to 600~800 metres. This lens is also infra-red compatible meaning it adjusts to focus in infra-red light, allowing use with day/night or B/W cameras and external IR illuminators. 

For control of the lens, one needs to interface it to one of our PTZ drivers such as the EPTZ-DRV or the E-DTRX3. The E-NX42K1000 is a suitable housing to accommodate the lens and a camera.
