Designed for use with CS Mount lenses, the E-380DN is a wide dynamic range CS mount box camera. Suitable for use with our range of CS lenses, the camera can be used in applications that have dark and light contrasts. Featuring a special state-of-the-art DSP implementation, the E-380DN has unique WDR technology with 3D noise reduction.

WIDE DYNAMIC RANGE
The E-380DN's Wide Dynamic Range is provided by our special WideLux DSP chip. This chip performs frame integration which allows the camera to operate in areas with contrasts in light. The frame integration involves 2 channels capturing images of the same scene and stitching these together to provide the user with a seamless image. The 'long exposure image' captures the dark part of the picture and the 'short exposure' image captures the brightly lit portions. Three modes are selectable, WDR/BLC/Eclipse or off. Another feature of the WideLux chip is the 2D/3DNR noise reduction. This technology allows the camera to provide noiseless images in lower light scenarios.
DAY/NIGHT OPERATION
The E-380DN has a day/night circuit and mechanical IR-cut filter. This feature switches the camera from a color mode to a B/W mode at a pre-determined lux level and thus provides a B/W image at poor lighting levels. This mode is configurable via the on-screen-display menu (OSD) and can be switched off if required.
SLOW SHUTTER
For low light slow moving applications , the E-380DN has a configurable slow shutter. This is setup in the OSD menu and increases the exposure mode to provide a clearer image in poor light.
OTHER FEATURES
Other features include peak-white inversion, back-light compensation, image stabilisation, adjustable automatic gain control and various white balance modes. The camera is powered from 12VDC or 24VAC.
