  The E-515DN is a day/night IR camera designed for capturing of numberplate images of moving vehicles. This special Day/Night camera features four 'Traffic Modes'. The various modes can be configured for different traffic situations depending on the vehicle speed and/or camera angle. Unlike standard cameras, the E-515DN is able to intelligently adjust it's shutter speed and/or exposure to capture vehicle numberplates regardless of the vehicle speed and/or vehicle headlights. Suitable lighting at night and a high fps recorder is a requirement.

  DAY/NIGHT OPERATION

  With the the sensitive Sony CCD, the E-515DN is an effective day/night camera for video surveillance during the day or night. The lux level for switch-over between Color and B/W can be configured between low, medium and high modes. As can the switch-over modes back from B/W to Colour. For low light operations the unit has a powerful integrated IR illuminator.

  IR ILLUMINATOR

  The E-515DN has an integrated LED illuminator. This illuminator has a powerful range of upto 50 metres. It aids in the capture of numberplates in poor light. 

  OTHER FEATURES

  Other features include selectable privacy modes, on-screen-display menu, adjustable BLC modes, as well as various gain levels.
