E-AUTOVU is software plug-in for the Omnicast IP DVR software. It integrates seamlessly into the Omnicast Enterprise Edition and provides the user with advanced LPR (license plate recognition) capability. Suitable for slow moving or stationary vehicles, E-AUTOVU is ideal for monitoring vehicles entering or exiting a facility.

It is capable of automatically identifying vehicles entering or exiting a site with industry leading precision. On recognition it can be programmed to alert the operator and/or carry out an action such as opening a boom gate.

The plug-in can also be used to search the database for a particular plate after an event.
