The E-CCTV-TEST-56 is an advanced test monitor for CCTV applications. Designed to withstand the rigours of daily use, the unit has a rugged metal enclosure and is supplied with a leather carry case. For installations and general purpose video use, this product includes all the test functions required by a CCTV technician.

  MONITOR

  The integrated hi-brightness 5.6" video monitor can be used for displaying either composite video signals or VGA signals. Most new embedded or PC based DVRs have VGA monitor outputs. The handy addition of a portable VGA monitor means your technician does not need to lug around a large heavy CRT monitor to each site. Brightness, contrast and viewing angle are all menu adjustable. 

  CCTV TEST TOOLS

  For CCTV diagnostic and test purposes, the E-CCTV-TEST-56 has various integrated tools. The first is the built-in test pattern generator video out. This is useful for testing video cables, checking on interference, for setting up twisted pair converters and for configuring wireless links. The second important tool, is the video level meter. This can be useful in diagnosing video signals which have a poor video level caused by cable faults, long cable distances and T-pieces.

  PTZ CAMERA CONTROL

  The integrated RS485 serial output can be used for controlling or setting up PTZ or speed dome cameras. Currently a variety of commonly used protocols are featured. These include the ever popular Pelco-D protocol. Connection is made via two screw terminals on the E-CCTV-TEST-56.

  INTEGRATED BATTERY

  The E-CCTV-TEST-56 is extremely lightweight due to it's integrated lithium-polymer battery. This hi-tech battery has a typical lifetime of 8 hours which provides sufficient camera installation time for most installations. For local camera power, the unit has a 12VDC output on the 2.1mm connector. The same connection can also be used for charging the internal battery. A power supply is included for this purpose.
