Our E-DVR-P7 is an innovative new JPEG2000 4ch Embedded DVR. Extremely compact it features an integrated high quality 7" wide TFT LCD and space for 1 x SATA HDD. Triplex in operation, the user is able to simultaneously monitor, review or newtork to the DVR.

JPEG2000 COMPRESSION

The E-DVR-P7 utilises JPEG2000 compression for it's onboard digital video recording. JPEG2000 is one of the latest forms of video compression.

It's principle is to provide high quality video compression with reasonable compressions ratios. Unlike MPEG4 compression, this still picture algorithm provides images with no mosaic/block effect in playback.

INTEGRATED LCD

With the highest grade quality 7" wide-screen LCD, the E-DVR-P7 is able to operate completely stand-alone. This makes it the ideal digital video recorder for small businesses, homes, shops or even boats. For situations which may require a 2nd or a larger display, the DVR has a composite video output for a spot or slave monitor. The integrated LCD be switched off for applications requiring discrete recording, such as with coverts.

CONTROLS

One can operate the unit via it's easy to use front panel controls, with the included IR remote or a with a PC mouse. The On-Screen-Display Menu is both easy to use and responsive to the user.

REMOTE CONNECTIVITY

The E-DVR-P7 has excellent remote connectivity. Users have a choice of two free applications to choose from, a single point-point client and a multi-client. Our multi-client allows the user to connect to simultaneous DVRs in different locations utilising TCP/IP connections. Both applications also allow the user to remotely review and backup footage across the network (bandwidth dependent). Alternatively, one is also able to use a standard internet browser to the E-DVR-2407.

DUAL CODEC FEATURE

For improved remote connectivity our DVR unit has a dual codec. Recording to the HDD is done in high quality JPEG2000 and remote network transmission is completed in H.264. The H.264 is a low bandwidth format which can be used for effective connectivity over ADSL or diginet connections.
