VIDEO

With connections for 3 x Video Cameras, the E-P3-MOBI is able to supply 5VDC to two of the cameras. Recording is software configurable as either event activated or continous recording. In the event mode a trigger from one of the alarm inputs, the manual record button or the G-Shock sensor activates the recording. The G-shock sensor's sensitivity can be adjusted to trigger when the vehicle moves or if it is involved in an accident or simply if the vehicle breaks harshly. All G-Shock sensor info is displayed in the client software as a graph and synchronised with the recorder's video.

PLAYBACK SOFTWARE & GOOGLE EARTH TRACKING

Extremely easy to use, the E-P3-MOBI includes a software client application for video and data playback. For playback the user removes the SD card from the recorder and places it into a compatible PC SD card slot.

Video and audio information is syncrhonised with GPS and sensor data recorded within the vehicle. If the PC has an internet connection, GoogleEarth is automatically opened in a window adjacent to the video. The video plays back while simultaneously tracking the vehicle on the google earth map. Users can also click on the GoogleEarth vehicle route and the video will playback from that location. This is useful when users wish to protect goods in transit and view the reason why a vehicle has stopped at a certain location.

VIDEO EXPORT

Video can be exported as a standard AVI video/audio clip or as a still image. With the AVI clip, the GPS infomation, as well as time/data and vehicle speed is overlayed onto the video. For backup purposes, the original recorded video/data file can also be backed up.

POWER

The E-P3-MOBI is able to operate off power between 12VDC and 24VDC. A Super-Cap protects the recorder from power failure and saves the data without corrupting it. An optional power timer unit is also available if the user wants to retain power for the recorder after the vehicle is switched off.
