The E-P4-MOBI-2 is a high quality embedded digital video recorder with GPS tracking. Designed for vehicle and mobile operation, it is also suitable for a variety of video surveillance applications including covert, general purpose and network video surveillance.

RUGGED DESIGN

Designed specially for mobile applications, the E-P4-MOBI-2 has a robust design and features hardware to provide protection against shock and vibration.

CONTROL

There are various methods of control for the DVR. The user can either use a USB mouse or the IR remote control.

RECORDING

Our E-P4-MOBI-2 features 4 real-time PAL/NTSC video input channels and a VGA or PAL/NTSC video monitor output. Unlike other DVRs, these units feature 25 fps real-time recording and monitoring per channel. Several recording modes can be chosen from including continuous, manual or event recording (alarm or motion). A covert mode, allows one to record a camera without letting the standard user from viewing that particular camera. When using Motion Detection, the installer is able to define motion detection blocks.

PLAYBACK

Video is recorded onto the internal HDD or SD card slot and can be backed up via the USB slot. The user selects the data to be backup through the user-menu and downloads it to the external USB device. One or more cameras can be selected for backup by time/date with the option of audio. Video can also be played back directly on the DVR at various speeds, in reverse or forward and in quad or single camera mode.

The E-P4-MOBI-2 is very suited to applications which require large amounts of video to be transferred from the camera location to the playback location. This is possible through the aid of the unit's removable SATA HDD which can be removed and replayed on another DVR or through a customer’s PC. A Windows client application is provided free of charge for this purpose.

NETWORKING

Remote networking is supported allowing transmission of video over TCP/IP. Each DVR comes included with remote networking software, as well as an application allowing playback direct from the HDD. This is useful if the user wants to remove the HDD from the embedded DVR and replay the information on a normal PC. Live video can be monitored across the network and images of a few minutes prior to the event can be replayed.
