The E-SNC-CH140 is a Sony branded IP CS Mount surveillance camera. The product comprises a megapixel day/night wide dynamic sensor, an IP video encoder and ethernet interface. All are combined into a CS mount body for indoor surveillance or outdoor surveillance when installed in an outdoor housing.

  WIDE DYNAMIC RANGE

  The E-SNC-CH140 is a powerful HD network camera with many advanced features. Featuring the new Sony Exmor sensor, the camera is able to provide excellent video quality in HD resolution (1280x720) at full 25fps/30fps. Another special feature of this sensor is the capability of operating in challening lighting conditions. The Exmor sensor features special WideD technology. With this technology the camera can be used to cover entrances/exits with harsh backlight. Suitable environments for this camera include shopping centres, parking garages and outdoor open parking areas with harsh sunlight.

  XDNR TECHNOLOGY FOR LOW LIGHT IMAGING

  XDNR (Excellent Dynamic Noise Reduction) technology virtually eliminates image blur in low-light conditions, enabling users to clearly capture images that have not been easy to portray in the past. It also overcomes the problems associated with many competitor camera models. What's more, when both XDNR and Visibility Enhancer are turned on, the cameras can achieve four times the sensitivity compared to when they are off. This technology is ideal for any outdoor surveillance monitoring, such as in a car park at night.

  VIDEO COMPRESSION

  Featuring a built-in multi-codec compression engine, the user has a choice of 3 compression types for video encoding, H.264, MPEG4 or JPEG. These are selectable via the web interface. JPEG requires a higher bandwidth network connection to provide a motion image, but provides a higher quality image. H.264 and MPEG4 are able to use a lower bandwidth connection to provide a full motion image.

  LENS SUPPORT

  The E-SNC-CH140 can support a variety of megapixel auto-iris lenses. It comes included with a 3~8mm lens for general surveillance use. For more focused images we can provide a 5~50mm lens.

  DEPA VIDEO ANALYTICS

  Featuring integrated DEPA Advanced Video Analytics technology, users can use this intelligent video motion detection for intruder/alarm detection. Certain filters can be configured directly on the camera meaning data is only transmitted on an alarm such as a virtual trip-wire. When used with the Sony RealShot Manager software, other video analytic filters are supported including object detection, trip-wire detection and missing/left object detection. Some new additions to DEPA Advanced include tamper alarm, shadow cancellation, beam intrusion detection and audio analysis.
