The unit has one local VGA output, as well as four individual UTP CAT5 RJ45 Outputs. These outputs transmit the VGA signal along standard UTP CAT5 cable for a distance of upto 300 metres.  

The compatible receiver unit is the E-TP-VGA-RXPRO which has adjustable gain and equalisation.

Typical applications for the unit include distributing VGA signals to several VGA monitors or projectors for multi-media applications. As well as security applications where a VGA signal from a CCTV DVR is required to be distributed to several remote VGA monitors. Many installers use video to VGA converters, these do however drop the picture quality significantlt. With our VGA to CAT5 converter you are assured if crisp VGA images at your remote monitor points.

Encased in a rugged metal housing, the unit operates off 12VDC and comes with a plug-in PSU.
