The E-TPT-414 is a CAT5 twisted pair video transceiver unit. It can be used as both a video transmitter, as well as a video receiver (it is a transceiver). Alternatively for longer distances, the E-TPT-414 can be used in conjunction with one of our active video receiver units. In that case, it will be used as a transmitter. 

This twisted pair video unit converts four composite video signals to four balanced twisted pair signals for transmission over a standard UTP CAT5 or CAT6 cable. It allows one to transmit 4 individual composite video signals over a single CAT5 UTP cable. They can be extremely useful in CCTV applications where distances exceed standard co-ax maximum distances. The unit can also be extremely useful when four camera are situated in the same area and the user wants to use one signal cable to bring the signals back to the DVR and/or monitor. 

The E-TPT-414 transceiver unit features four BNC connectors and an RJ45 connector for the UTP CAT5 cable. It is passively powered and does not require power to operate..
